Re Comment No. 1: You are so right. If Kerry does not understand his obligations to Israel, if he cannot toe the Likud line, then Israel will just turn to its other allies, who will surely jump at the chance to give Israel what it is asking for.

The truth always sparks outrage.The fact is that Keery seeks a peace prize on the backs of the state of israel.It is unfortunate that the major jewish organizations in the US have not reacted similarly. He is delussional in believeing that peace can be forged when one “peace partner” deamonizes the other in the vilest way to its children. I do recall Ms. Clinton vowing that this would stop.So much for promises by politicians

Good for Ya’alon. It is Kerry’s job to impress the Israelis with his proposals, and the underlying motives will show through pretty easily. They should not allow themselves to be intimidated by these unreasonable and frankly anti-Israeli demands. Keep up the good old Jewish stubbornness, and do not cave to this maniac, secretary of maniac!
