A European Union delegation arrived in the PA (Palestinian Authority) on Saturday, meeting with Prime Minister Salem Fayyad. Upon leaving the meeting, members of the delegation announced the EU would be giving another 40 million euro to the PA towards paying salaries.
Fayyad stated that with the additional funding, they will be able to pay August salaries and will continue doing its utmost to pay employees in the coming months.
