ywn- you should report facts not what the marriv and other papers say. did you interview wallis? did he tell you that’s what he did? It is an even worse crime to speak lashon ;hara about a talmid chaaham, I haven’t been On this site for a while, and i think i’ll stay away agian.

How can you state that he shook his son as a fact. I was living in E”Y then and know one I knew thought that there was any truth to that allegation. The reid was that the police tricked him into confessing, and anyone familiar with their methods would understand that this is not far fetched. The Eida sent a Doctor to examine the baby in the hospital. The more likely story is that someone in the hospital killed the baby, probably by accident, and in order to save their own skin framed this yungerman.
