whatever the gedolim say is by what we shall abide. if harav elyashiv shlita said that if conversion problems comes up then degel should not join then join we shall not. it is a massive chilull hashem if they join because if lieberman and his laws go through then it will be a government that will break all previous fences. sometimes it is a good thing that people bicker between each other- it stops chilul hashem.

Everyone’s yelling about all the tzaros in klal yisroel. Just look at the lack of achdus between the frum parties and you see why we’re in the current matzav.

Maybe if Litzman and Gafne would have looked at the greater good of klal yisroel instead of their own personal agendas, they would have been in a position to accomplish something. Or better even, have true achdus and go with Shas into the coalition. Huh, you’re shuddering at the thought of going with the Sefardim?
