Gaza Voice of Prisoners Radio

Islamic Jihad terrorist Rafat abu-Khalil, who served 15 years in the Israeli prison system, is a major player in launching Gaza’s new Voice of Prisoner Radio, a station that brings the plight of the underprivileged Arab terrorists who are behind bars in Israel. The programming will highlight the difficulties of the prisoners and their families, seeking to bring their plight to the forefront.

Rafat abu-Khalil used his time in prison well, and today, boasts a degree from Israel’s Open University, using his newly-acquired skills to launch the station. He insists the station will be apolitical, and the “professionals” who will operate it intend to bring the humanitarian message to listeners in addition to providing regular broadcast content.

A prison rehabilitation victory story for Israel.
