		<description><![CDATA[A few years ago I saw an ENT (ear nose &amp; throat specialist) who recommended a tonsillectomy for me. When I asked him about the risks involved he mentioned death by hemorrhaging. When I reacted with shock he explained to me exactly what happened in the above story. It scared me enough to push off having it done &amp; to reconsider. These days surgeons are so nonchalant about doing surgery (it&#039;s just another days work for them.) However, no matter how commonplace a procedure it actually is, be carefull not to go under the surgeons scalpal without a second opinion. At least then you&#039;ve made your proper Hishtadlus.]]></description>
