Police report making two additional arrests in the case of individuals seeking to extort NIS 1 million from McDonalds Israel, threatening to release a video on YouTube depicting severe health violations in a local branch.

The mastermind of the extortion scheme is a resident of the Arab community of Baka el-Garbiye. The others are residents of the Arab municipality of Taibeh. They are believed responsible for making the factually distorted video that experts in the police department already stated is obviously the result of inserting segments and not a legitimate depiction of the McDonald’s branch in Ramat HaSharon as claimed.
