What about the thousands of grave sites on Har Menuchot that have been vandalized. When I called the police to complain, they responded that I had to come downtown to file an official complaint that I had stolen property!!! If I didn’t file, they would not investigate. . . I responded that the grave did not belong to me at all. The only thing I could do was to replace the covering with an aluminum one that is not worth it to steal. There are still literally thousands of places that have no housing for the yahrzeit lights.
