Minister of Religious Services Yaakov Margi was on hand at the Kosel on Monday, taking part in a bar mitzvah for orphans from around Eretz Yisrael. The boys received tefillin as well as an impressive bar mitzvah certificate.
The event was sponsored by Kollel Chabad Yerushalayim and the Moreshet HaKosel Fund.
The boys all took part in a learning program to prepare them, including learning their parsha and relevant halachos pertaining to tefillin and reaching bar mitzvah.
