Which “rabbonim” are making these mishuganah demands? No REAL Rav’s name is mentioned except in opposition to this nonsense.
Egged (and Dan) are secular companies, if you don’t like what they do find other means of transportation.

The thing I don’t get is that askanim are always trying to get the Gedolei Hador to agree with them so they have credibility with the masses. But if they don’t follow the recommendations Gedolei Hador, what right do they have to tell us to?!

#1- probably because it’s so accessible to all, and it’s not like you’re going there, it’s coming to you. What I don’t understand is why don’t they just demand the removal of inappropriate ads? Why the screens altogether?

I do not know why they chose specifically this to oppose among all the other untznius things.

My guess is that perhaps they have decided that since the busses already have had separate seating, it would be counter productive to promote and support the separate seating while still having the ad displayed which defats the purpose of the separate seating, to some extent.

I could be wrong, but that is my best guess.

Your headline needs to be changed. To a Ben Torah, someone who listens to Gedolei Yisroel, when one sees your headline of “Rabbonim…”, one automaticlly assumes that they are correct. But if you read the artcile, (and you need to read more than the first paragraph), you will see that the Gedolie Yisroel, who we live our lives by, don’t agree with these so called “Rabbonim”. Who are these “Rabbonim”? In the end of your article, you also dont call them “Rabbonim” but rather “Askanim”.

There are so many other inappropriate things that go on in Israel sadly to say. The Rabbonim can’t complain about everything. Why did they specifically choose this?
