10,983 Tons of Aid Transferred to Gaza from Israel


In addition to basic goods being transferred into Hamas-controlled Gaza, 228 medical patients and accompanying individuals from Gaza crossed into Israel and the Yehuda and Shomron region for medical treatment.

Between Sunday (Apr. 18) and Saturday (Apr. 24), a total of 439 truckloads, consisting of 10,983 tons of humanitarian aid were transferred into Gaza from Israel via the various crossings. The transferred goods included 57 truckloads of fruits and vegetables; 42 truckloads of wheat; 24 truckloads of meat, chicken and fish products; 35 truckloads of dairy products; 104 truckloads of animal feed; 31 truckloads of hygiene products; 18 truckloads of clothing and shoes and 13 truckloads of sugar.

Likewise, 1.046 million liters of diesel fuel for the Gaza power station, 99,500 liters of diesel fuel for transport, 19,980 liters of gasoline, and 502 tons of cooking gas also crossed into Gaza.

In addition to that, 228 medical patients and accompanying individuals from Gaza crossed into Israel and the Judea and Samaria region for medical treatment, and 50 Gazans entered Israel for other various reasons. 149 staff members of international organizations crossed into the Gaza Strip, and 146 crossed from Gaza Strip into Israel.
