Yerushalayim / Manhattan: Real estate records broken

plaza hotel.jpgThe Israeli real-estate company Alrov sold an apartment in the Mamilla housing project in Yerushalayim for a record-breaking $9 million to a European citizen whose identity has not been disclosed. In New York, Israeli billionaire Yitzhak Tshuva, the owner of the Plaza Hotel sold an apartment in the hotel for more than $50 million – the highest price ever paid for an apartment in the city, the New York Daily News reported yesterday.
