Danny Ayalon, if the state of israel would honor and defend the torah and its rabbis like is should , the vatican wouldnt dare open its mouth. however thats not the case.

unfortunately ,over the years ,rav metzger has been attacked in israel by the press and by many government officials over narishkeit and false accusations of immoral activity. the secular newspapers had a blast and pasted all the stories on their front pages.

we need to honor the torah first if we expect others to.
