3. If you would like to be the FREE lawyer on behalf of all kashrus agencies, please call them and let them know. You obviously dont know much about how things work with these labels so I will enlighten you. PLEASE PAY ATTENTION.

Most "unauthorized" labels are simply an oversight by an existing certified company. All in all, its just a paperwork issue and not a big deal.

The last thing anyone wants to do, including kashrus agencies, is have a recall. The agency will do whatever they can not to force the company to recall product if it doesnt have to. Most agencies have internal guidelines as to when/if they force a recall.

You asked about placing ads in the "jewish" papers. If you ask that question, you OBVIOUSLY dont read the Yated, Hamodea, Jewish Press, etc., because then you wouldnt ask such a question.

If you have the "run to court" attitude for all mislabels like you have, most companies will drop hashgocha out of fear they will be sued.

Finally, do you realize that the amount of unauthorized labels is a DROP IN THE BUCKET compared to the amount of kosher labels. Your beef should be with the agencies that DONT report unauthorized labels as opposed to the ones that do. Your beef should be against all the many "heimish" hashgochas that dont do a blasted thing other than put their labels on products. For that you should buy the OU, OK, Kof-K, etc., product because at least they care about what they certify.

DOES THE OU OK COF K ETC IMMEDIATELY GO O COURT AGAINST COMPANIES THAT USE THEIR SYMBOLS WHEN NOT AUTHORIZED??? DO THESE KASHRUTH COMPANIES IMMEDIATELY RECAll products that were mislabeled parve or dairy - and force the companies that they obviously have 'deals' with to go all out and at all costs remove these mislabeled products off the store shelves. Are they putting ads in all Jewish newspapers advertising their mistakes before a trusting consumer uses something that is milicig and labeled parve with meat. If they are not, then what's any of these Hashgochos worth???

For those that may not know; The 'hechser' going by "EK" or "Ethical Kosher" which may be found in a 7 - eleven displayed by the bakery case, should not be confused with "Chof-k". "Ethical Kosher" appears to be ran by a conservative 'rabbi'.
