Manhattan: Man killed by train in Times Square

A man was struck and killed by a subway car at the Times Square station Tuesday morning, said police.

The deadly incident on the no. 2 subway line occurred just before 10 a.m.

It is not clear how the man ended up on the tracks.

Late last year, a man from Queens was shoved onto subway tracks as a train rolled into the Times Square station. Ki-Suck Han, 58, was killed. Naeem Davis, a homeless man, is charged in his murder.

Service is disrupted on the no. 2 and no. 3 lines.

No. 2 trains are running on the No. 5 line in both directions between the Nevins Street Station and 149-Grand Concourse Station.

No. 3 trains are running local between Chambers Street and 96th Street.
