2 Rescued After Plane Crashes In Hudson River


A small plane has crashed into the Hudson River near the John F. Kennedy Marina Launch in Yonkers, authorities said.

According to the Coast Guard, Yonkers Emergency Service Police have rescued two people from the plane. Their condition is unknown at this time.

Yonkers Office of Emergency Management said a pilot and a passenger were pulled out of the water to safety. The pilot made a mayday call before hitting the water.

The plane is currently under water in the river.
