NBC4: Police in Montgomery County, Md., say a 14-year-old boy is in critical condition after a vehicle hit him Wednesday afternoon. Authorities said the 14-year-old boy was a student at the Yeshiva Greater Washington Boys School. He was hit near the school in the 1200 block of Arcola Avenue in Wheaton Wednesday.Police said it appears the 14-year-old was headed home when he was struck by a Jeep traveling eastbound on Arcola. Investigators said the boy was not in the crosswalk. The school had a scheduled Yossi Piamenta concert which was cancelled.
