Israel: Dollar hits five year low

dollar.jpgshekel.jpgThe dollar’s slide continued with the opening of the foreign currency market today. The shekel appreciated 0.09% today, and the shekel-dollar representative rate was set at NIS 4.23/$, its lowest level in five years. In dollar options yesterday, the shekel-dollar exchange rate fell below NIS 4.22/$, but in corrected upwards slightly today in mixed trading in international markets.
