The Binyan Olam Bais Medrash Chanukas Habayis celebration began today, the 20th of Kislev, when the Noviminsker Rebbe Shlita came to the Bais Medrash in Skokie, IL. to affix the Mezuzah to the entrance way of the Bais Medrash. (More photos in YW photo album.)
Following the placing of the Mezuzah, the tenants joined together with the Noviminsker & the Rav of the Bais Medrash, Harav Zvi Feiner Shlita, in dancing, l’chvod the simcha.
Afterwards, the Rebbe delivered Divrei Bracha to the Bais Medrash and to the tenants of the building. He expressed the fact that this is quite a unique building – one he has not seen before, where the workplace has merged together with the Makom Torah, the Bais Medrash, to become one entity.
The celebration will continue this coming Sunday, the second day of Chanukah with the official Chanukas Habayis & Hachnosas Sefer Torah. The Chicago Jewish Community as a whole will participate in this event which will truly be a Kiddush Hashem.

did the rebbe eat @ SRULIE’S ESSEN DELICATESSEN ????? I HEARD THE FOOD IS GESHMAK !!!!
The food IS Geshmak, but the Rebbe did not have a hot dog at 10:30 in the morning.
I don’t believe the rebbe has eaten a hot dog since he left chicago thirty years ago!!!
He came to talk at the Chicago Kollel Dinner, held Sunday night.
