Bachrim say that right when R’ Dovid zatzal was nifter, the clock in his shiur room went out. Also a light of the menorah went out around the time he was nifter.

I was told that before R’ Dovid knew he was sick, he happened to be in EY and visited R’ Chaim Kanievsky. R’ Chaim wished him a refuah shleimah. R’ Dovid immediately visited a doctor and his illness was discovered.
