Flatbush Hatzolah & Shomrim help out in Dallas TX

(Saturday, January 20th, 2007)

Approx 40 members of Rabbi Sherrer’s shul (Flatbush) made a trip to Dallas Texas this week to be mikarev and michazek the local Dallas community. The group toured all the local shuls, Yeshivas, and schools. They met the community and Rabbi Sherrer spoke many times to the community members and children. The group spent Shabbos in TX and will leave I”H on Sunday.

Among the shul members traveling to TX from NY were Hatzoloh and Shomrim members from Flatbush. Their expertise came in handy when a local frum 3 year old boy went missing on Shabbos in Dallas. The NY Hatzoloh and Shomrim members helped orginize and coordinate the search and the boy was found unharmed. A huge Kiddush Hashem!!!!
