First you say how much Hakoras Hatov we owe to shomrim and Hatzoloh, now you say that 30 years ago, without them it didnt make adifference cos then we davned to the RBS’O. What are you saying exactly????
was davening WITHOUT these shlichim good enough, or are we NOT davening enough currently cos we DO have the shlichim and if so, should they get the credit anyways??? make up your mind

Remeber, shomrim, chaverim or hatzolah are volunteers. If they are making their time available they should be given credit. Even the police call them “the eyes and ears of the community”. Whether or not they were instrumental in catching the guy is irrelevant. What matters is they left their job or family on a call and were there even as moral support.

Kol Hakavod to all the organizations. What did we do 20-30 years ago without them?

I think it was chaveirim who saved the day….the guy who stole the car died down and called chaveirim…so they contacted police….LOL…who in the world cares who it was.

The Shomrim knew the onstar account number, but the owner didn’t? And I’m sure he would never have thought of calling onstar on his own either. And the police wouldn’t have asked him. Therefore, the car would still be missing.
