Israel & the US sign memorandum on Homeland Security

homeland security logo.jpgIsraels Internal Security Minister, Avi Dichter has signed a memorandum with US Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff on Wednesday evening promoting cooperation between the two countries on matters of homeland defense. 

Dichter is currently on an official trip to the US. The memorandum will establish cooperation between Israel and America regarding counter-terrorism, aviation and airport security and emergency situations.
