The holographic device is a great idea, but what happens when a ………….EDITED………….Would the Rav Hamachshir please explain how this works?

YW Responds: Since you are very concerned about the Rav Hamachsir and their practices, and on what basis they do everything, (and keep on trying to get your comment through!!!!) I’m sure that if you called Rabbi Belsky he would explain all the procedures.

And……should you decide that you know better then him, he will crush you just like we just did.

#1- PERHAPS YOU SHOULD CHECK YOU INBOX, SINCE YOU RECEIVED AN EMAIL TELLING YOU WHY YOUR COMMENT WAS IGNORED THE FIRST SEVENTEEN TIMES…..

#2-If you would have read your email, there was a link explaining the comment rules. Here is a quote from Rule 2: Opinions are okay, but demeaning torah, halacha and gedolim is not okay. We do not want the responsibility of deciding how wrong a comment is, and if it is or if it isn’t against halacha. We are not poskim and we will always err on the side of caution.

I don’t live in the NY area, so I’m not familiar with the radio station or its host.
Rav Belsky Shlita is a world-renowned Posek, who spends every waking moment involved with Torah; learning it, teaching it, and rendering Halachic rulings on small and big matters.
I think that such trivial questions as how long it is before freshly geshuchtene chickens are found on the shelves are not questions for Empire’s Posek and Rav HaMachshir. And this is probably the reason you will notice that the Rav answered such questions in a way that can be perceived as Chanie T. did.
Just listen, however, to the way Rav Belsky speaks when asked about the Bedikos involved in shechting and processing Kosher chickens; very different, wouldn’t you say? In fact, notice how at the end of the interview – the interviewer was wrapping it up – the Rav volunteers more information on the Kashering process.
Enough said.

i have heard r’ belsky many times on the radio and he never really gets in to it. i think he’s uncomfortable being on the radio in general.

While I agree with G.O.M. that Nachum seemed to dominate the interview, it seemed to me that Rav Belsky Shlita did not really want to do a radio interview. He seemed almost disinterested in it It felt as if his heart was not really in it. It could be after so many month of dealing with this Kasrus issue he was just tired of talking about it. And if I am correct in that assumption, it was Nachum duty to carry the interview and he did it professionally. Just one persons opinion!

Generally I think that Nachum does a very good job, but this interview with Rav Belsky was not particularly good. Nachum dominated the interview, giving Rabbi Belsky little room to say more than yes, no, or some brief comment. Nachum could have introduced Rav Belsky and just let him talk. Just the opinion of a G.O.M. (This is NOT an attack on Nachum, just a commentary about the interview – I was expecting alot more)
