You can see it in their faces — there ARE some repulsive Mexicans who work in our stores (and Monsey Glatt DID have some obvious bums working there, as does Rockland Kosher right now) — and then there are some fine, poor Mexicans who just need a job and respond with appreciation to being treated with dignity. There is no place for racism in the Torah world — we are supposed to be an ohr lagolah, not a bunch of sneering, superior racists!

And I do agree that those disgusting-faced, negative or too-personal employees should not be working among us. Pay a few dollars more and get normal humans, Yidden!!

When I go there in the morning and I see cars pulling up and dropping off workers and the cars have plates from these States, the phrase “ILLEGAL ALIEN” comes to mind. I do not think it is racist to be against illegal aliens – if it is, so be it – call me a racist too.

one nameless storeowner (not the nameless that posts here) told me that he hires them b/c they are cheap and generally reliable.

I would rather pay more at the checkout and not have people here illegally working in the stores.

I do not know if these thugs were here legally or not – I am glad that they were caught and B’Ezrat HaShem the injured should have a refuah shlaimah (spelling???).
