If they are going to do some covert investigating, wouldn’t it make more sense for them not to have telepraphed those intentions?

Also, didn’t the Rambam consider Islam as non-idolatrous, so that the prohibition against going into a house of idolatry (such as a x’ian church for Jews) would not apply?

I always thought that it was not permissible to go into a mosque (church, quaker meeting hall, etc.)

my inderstanding is that mosques usually have guards at the doors and only let in those that want to let in.
