The Lubavitcher community was shaken this morning when word came of a 50 year old woman and her daughter (Queens resident) who were tragically killed on Route 3 near the Yad Binyomin Junction (in the south). She was traveling to her husbands Kever at Har Hazeisim in Yerushalayim; whose Yartzheit is today. Four others were transported to Kaplan Hospital in serious condition. THE MAN IS FROM QUEENS NOT CROWN HEIGHTS
Rabbi Chein was from Crown Heights originaly, but he is now one of the Chabad Shluchim in Queens.
He wife, Rebbetzin Yocheved Chein and her mother Mrs. Rochel Schneerson of Nachlas Har Chabad were killed, r’l.
We are all shaken, not just the Lubavichers.
I CAN’T HANDLE IT ANYMORE – reading about so many tragedies this week in YW – Hashem Yerachem! – Maybe since it’s Parshas Ki Sissa, where Chazal say that all of history’s tragedies are a retribution from the Chet Ha’egel.
Another tragedy this week it should only end soon. As horrible as it is, HaSem is speaking to us and he’s saying, I don’t like what I see, the world is not being run properly. All Klal Yisroel must do more mitvos every day until everything they do is done according to HaShem’s Torah.
