rabbi danny grier is responsible for many acts of kiddush hashem. he was the first student at princeton to insist on wearing his yarmulkah throughout his tenure there. his daughter was the yale five (who later became the yale four when she advanced her legal wedding date). these are just examples.

agudists will note that rabbi avigdor’s brother is the general counsel (check exact title) for the agudah in america (and lives in flatbush — attends rabbi beck’s shul). and his father makes a good batch of wine. had some on pesach a few years ago.

For those who don’t know Rabbi David Avigdor, Sydney Perry and David Warren (all quoted in the complete article) are all frum. Most of the frum community in New Haven are against the armed patrols.
