For statewide office, Hikind has several flaws, particularly his ignorance of upstate and his lack of military experience. The fact that he isn’t a zillionaire hurts for running for Senate. He might be better off running as a Republican for Congress or the State Senate (particularly since he would make a real difference in the latter).

It’s VERY IMPORTANT that EVERYONE take a FEW minutes of their time to go out and VOTE for BOB TURNER. This is our chance to send a STRONG message to the President and the Democratic party that we have had enough. This is newsworthy. Of course, it might be more interesting if Hikind decided to become a Republican himself and really shake politics up (depending on what the upcoming gerrymandering does). He’s a Republican on most issues, though he’s fairly liberal on economic issues.
