The fact that even the liberals such as Reid, Pelosi, et al won’t “negotiate” the deal with Obama is a dead giveaway that he has lost his party. If this was a parliament he would receive a vote of no confidence, sort of like what much of America gave him in 2009 & 2010.

It’s not just that Obama is not part of the solution, rather, Obama is the problem. His excessive, unproductive spending over the past two years is what has created the unprecidented deficit. Now, in the midst of a prolonged unemployment crisis he wants to raise taxes — the result of which is almost certain to exacerbate the problem. An editorial in the Wall Street Jurnal the other day put it very simply. Its title was “Get Out Of the Way Mr. President”.
