A 22-year-old male was taken into custody by Jerusalem police for stealing money from a Modi’in Illit mikve. The suspect was taken into custody on Sunday, 21 Kislev 5774. Last week a police complaint was filed by mikve officials in Brechfeld after a break-in was discovered along with the theft of the money on the premises. Two IDF Officers Wounded Along Lebanese Border
Two officers of the 890th Paratrooper Battalion were injured on Tuesday night the eve of 17 Kislev 5774 as a result of an operational mishap in northern Israel. It appears that explosives were set off during routine IDF activity along the Lebanese border. The officers were evacuated by chopper by the air force’s 669 rescue unit.
