Recognizing Chabad Shlichus as 'National Service'
The Shaked Committee, which is in the final stage of completing a new chareidi draft law has decided to recognize Chabad shlichus around the world as valid national service. Betar Illit Toddler Sustains Moderate Burns
A 2-year-old girl in Betar Illit on Tuesday evening, 21 Teves 5774, sustained moderate burns as a result of hot pot of soup spilling on her. The incident occurred on Kedushas Halevy Street. Grenade Explodes in Kfar Saba Trash Can
A city sanitation employee sustained light facial injuries and burns when a stun grenade exploded inside a trash can on Tel Chai Street in Kfar Saba. When police arrived they discovered a second, yet unexploded grenade in the can. Bomb demolition technicians were summoned to neutralize the second hand grenade.
