New Bus Service Between Ashdod and Betar Illit
Three new bus routes are scheduled to begin the coming days; from Betar Illit to chareidi areas of Ashdod, Netanya and Kiryat Gat. In stage one of the new service the bus lines will operate only on erev Shabbos and motzei Shabbos and service will be expanded based on demand. The service will be operational in both directions, that is to say to and from Betar, operated by the Illit Company.

The Knesset Welfare Committee passed a bill in its second and third readings towards giving additional sick days to parents of disabled children, a bill sponsored by MK Rabbi Uri Maklev.
