London: Insects on Bell Peppers
Kashrus Alert from the London Beth Din Insects on Bell Peppers (Capsicum) KLBD Mashgichim have recently found peppers to have small 1mm - 3mm insects crawling primarily on the tops of peppers. It appears that these insects may have been deliberately placed on the peppers and some packaging actually indicates “May contain beneficial insects”! More on Israel Duty Free – El Al Sold Its Chametz
According to El Al’s Rav Hayut, even the duty free at Ben-Gurion International Airport which sold its chametz continued selling chametz during Pesach, transgressing the sale. The rav points out however that El Al’s chametz was sold in strictest adherence to halacha, sold to a non-Jew by Rav Wosner, and it was under lock and key, stored away during yomtov in compliance with halacha. He recommends buying duty free items on board El Al flights to avoid problems. (Jerusalem Kosher News)

Ben-Gurion International Airport Duty-Free Kashrus Alert
The CRC (Chicago Rabbinical Council) has published an alert, warning travelers regarding duty free shops in Tel Aviv’s Ben-Gurion International Airport. According to the alert, as published by Jerusalem Kosher News (/), the only store that sold its chametz before Pesach is the James Richardson located at Gate D7.
