Sullivan County: Stabbing At Kauneonga Lake Restaurant

Early Sunday morning (7/27/14) at approximately 1:45 AM, the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office responded to a fight in progress at the Table and Tap Restaurant in the Kauneonga Lake section of the Town of Bethel. When deputies arrived at the location they found a large crowd on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant. Rock Hill: Overturned Vehicle On Lake Louise Marie Rd - Chopper Requested To The Scene

There is a serious MVA reported just off Route 17 at Exit 110 on Lake Louise Marie Rd, in front of the Rock Hill EMS building. Catskills Hatzolah is on the scene, along with the Rock Hill Fire Department, Mobilemedics, and the State Police. The vehicle is reported to have overturned, and landed back on its wheels. Hatzolah Paramedics have requested that a medevac respond to airlift an occupant of the vehicle. The extent of the injuries are unknown. (YWN Sullivan County Newsroom)

Emergency personnel are currently on the scene of a serious collision on Route 17B in Monticello. The crash is in front of Maplewood Auto. There are occupants pinned inside of teh vehicle, and the fire department is in the process of extricating them. Catskills Hatzolah and Mobilemedics are treating the victims. PHOTOS: Overturned Vehicle On River Road In South Fallsburg

[PHOTOS IN EXTENDED ARTICLE] A vehicle overturned on River Road in South Fallsburg, Monday morning. Catskills Hatzolah was on the scene and treated the driver for minor injuries. He apparently self-extricated himself from the vehicle, and walked to a nearby home to call Hatzolah. The Sullivan County Sheriff Department and the Fallsburg FD were on the scene as well.

[PHOTOS BY JDN IN EXTENDED ARTICLE] A fire broke out in a bungalow in the Nahariya-Happy Acres Bungalow Colony on La Vista Drive, Sunday afternoon. The Fallsburg FD was assisted by other departments including the Loch Sheldrake FD. Catskills Hatzolah was on the scene as well, but Boruch Hashem there were no injuries reported.  

Bloomingburg: Annexation For Development Illegal; Chasidic Development Construction OK

In a split decision, a judge ruled Wednesday that the annexation of Town of Mamakating land for a 396-home Hasidic development in this tiny village was illegal, but construction of the controversial town houses could continue.
