The Sullivan County Sheriff's Office has arrested Danielle Brown, 37, of Cuddebackville for Arson in the 2nd Degree and Reckless Endangerment in the 1st Degree, both Felonies. The charges stem from a house fire that occured on Tuesday June 17, 2014 at 6 Schaeffer Lane in the Town of Forestburgh. The New York State Police in Schodack New York are investigating the death of off-duty New York State Trooper, Kerstin S. Williams. A person was flown by chopper to a trauma center, after taking a serious fall. The incident happened at teh Ichud Bungalow Colony around 7:30PM, Sunday evening, when a person - possibly a construction worker - fell off a ladder. Ferndale: Kitchen Fire In Lipkowitz Bungalow Colony

A bungalow was saved from what could have been a big fire, thanks to the fast response by the Liberty Fire Department. Sources tell YWN Catskills that the fire started in a kitchen at the Lipkowitz Bungalow Colony, located on Harris Road (CR-174) in the town of Ferndale, Friday afternoon.
