Missing Child On Kings Highway & East 26

A 9-year-old child has gone missing from his home on Kings Highway and East 26th Street, Sunday morning. The child resided in the apartment building located at 2626 Kings Highway. More than 50 police cars are on the scene, and detectives are working on the case. The accident is reportedly on the “Brooklyn-Bound” Staten Island Expressway, in the area of the Bradly Avenue Exit. Traffic is reported to be backed up for miles. A blast hit a metro station in the centre of the Belarussian capital Minsk on Monday and police said some people had been killed. A warning for drivers who use the Brooklyn Bridge: the iconic span will once again be closed to overnight Manhattan-bound traffic. 10:30AM EST: Township officials tell YWN that Route 9 has just been reopened. Earlier report below: Route 9, Lakewood, is closed between Central Avenue and Route 88 because of a motor vehicle accident that left wires down.
