U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem Lifts Shelter-in-Place Order, Resumes Normal Operations Amid Eased Security Restrictions

The U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem says the shelter-in-place order for U.S. government employees and their family members has ended.

Israel’s Home Front Command has eased restrictions and now permits full activity with no restrictions, except in certain communities in northern Israel.

The U.S. Embassy Jerusalem and Embassy Branch Office Tel Aviv will reopen for routine and emergency consular services on Wednesday, June 10.

Ben Gurion Airport is operating, and the embassy advises travelers to contact airlines regarding commercial flight options.
