I’ve been making this for years. The only thing I do different is I place sliced onions in the pan before putting in the chicken. I also make it in a large frying pan on the stove.. Sometimes I make a paste of salt ,garlic powder, paprika. sugar, ketchup and a little oil and rub it all over the chicken and under the skin. The sugar adds a good flavor.I bake it at 375 covered for about 1 and 1/2 hrs, then I uncover it for about 10 minutes on 400.
