Signs of problem gambling include:
- Preoccupation with gambling
- Being secretive about gambling/lying when confronted about it
- Increasing bet amounts
- Trying unsuccessfully to stop
- Chasing gambling losses with more gambling
- Restless or irritable when not gambling
- Committing crimes to finance gambling
- Jeopardizing relationships, jobs, education or career opportunities because of gambling
If you have any of those symptoms, you may have a problem. Otherwise, probably not.
