it depends- there is a new principal now so i don’t know how the academics will be but if you were accepted they obviously feel you can handle it. and they care more about the will to learn than the ability to learn. if you want to do it you can- and if you can’t they will help you do as much as you can to the best of your ability. if you want it to be demanding and difficult- and stress about it you can. but last year most of the girls were pretty chilled about it- including me. there were a few girls though who did make it difficult for themselves. I don’t think there will be an option- but i don’t know. yom tov we stayed together except for 2nd days sukkos where girls either asked to be placed or had their own places. on a typical shabbos if it’s not a shabbaton you can find your own place, go with friends, or asked to be placed, the dorm does remain open if there are a few other girls who want to stay also. but if not they try to help find someplace to sleep also.
