One of the times that I almost got arrested. I was in yeshiva and a baalhabus wanted to donate some furniture (beds) to the yeshiva. I went along to help schlep. We went in a uhaul to his deceased parents house in a quiet, not yeshivish town, at night. We finished loading up and were about to leave, when the cops blocked the driveway. A neighboor had called. B”H, the son hadn’t driven totally away and noticed what hapenned. He wasn’t parked in the driveway. He explained what was going on. I can just imagine what would have been a few seconds later. I don’t think the cops would have bought our story. We probably would have been in the town’s police jail for good few hours -till everything was cleared up.
