Anyway you could be right that this hashkafa is exclusive to E”Y, I’ve been here long enough to pick it up. However, I’ve never met a Brisker who called Rabbi JB Soloveitck ‘The Rav’ and I suspect that this is more because of what I mentioned earlier.
