Reply To: A good cry

Ussually english, my hebrew is too slow, when I try to think in it my thoughts go really slow and it annoys me…and somehow it turns to english…

When I converse in hebrew I think of what I want to say in hebrew, if I try to translate, it will come out all wrong and get me mixed up, and the style of the language is SO different…like there’s no OMG or LOL in hebrew…and no word for like, meanwhile hebrew has worlds like, davka, and yalla, and die…that sound weird in english….

I dream in amix, sometime one or the other and sometimes both….

I have a friend who speaks english, yiddish, and hebrew…I’ll ask her…
