Hi, so I went with my wife last Sunday to look at a couple apartments. It is a lot different, however my wife and I seem to have a bigger problem. We don’t look like your typical white Jews. People do not want to rent to us.

The apartment will be available, but once landlords meet us, things change. It has been a tough road, in Monsey or anywhere we go. I have great references, from dian’s, rabonim, work and friends but it doesn’t matter. We are frum, in a chasidish minyan, me blk suit and wife tsnius, but nothing. 🙁

This is discouraging
