so i am driving in this 4-lane highway, coffee between my knees, cell phone in my left hand, right hand is busy switching cds from the stereo, elbows on the steering wheel keeping the car nice and steady, when all of a sudden this woman driver in the lane next to me, who is applying her early morning make-up with the help of her car mirror, quickly pulls into my lane, without her blinkers on!! my car gives a sudden jerk as i applied my brake at lightening speed, avoiding what could have easily been a catastrophic 9-car collision (at least), i drop my iphone mid sentence, coffee falls from my lap and spills all over my pants and shoes, (did I mention it was piping hot??!)my cd falls down and gets all scratched up wedged somewhere inside my open tool box, and I am now having second thoughts again about using a car seat belt!!!
