most will agree that the Bracha can be recited even after Nisan like we Australian Jews, who do not recite Berocho until some 6 months after Nisson, during Tishri. In fact we often utilize this Berocho as an opportunity to gain 1 extra Mitzwah during the Asseres Yemei Yeshuvo.
