Jax, I tried, and the funny thing is I dont think she means it. If I had to guess, I would say when she was younger, she went through something that wasn’t addressed and now shes going through more because of it. (I know she was.is going through something that was mostly of her own doing, but more psychological) and now shes probably trying to protect me from the same thing, subconsciously. She does not take no for an answer and I think she does this only with me because I have other friends who are even closer with her than I am and I cant imagine she does the same thing to them.
