Hey Gefen, just wanted to let you know what worked for me. I also suffered a lot from tmj pain due to a an injury to my face. One dentist suggested I take melatonin so that I could go into deep sleep and rest the muscles, which helped a lot. Ultimately I went to a holistic chiropracter who helped tons.
He suggested using a small copper bowl, (you can buy it on amazon) put in a candle at the center, let it melt a bit and light. The lit candle releases tension at the pressure points and works amazing.
