I agree, but I’ll change the terminology a bit. There is no schar, as far as I know, for not committing an aveirah for which one has no desire or opportunity.
A mitzvah, however (meaning a “kum va’aseh” – positive action) does bring schar even if it’s enjoyable. Oneg Shabbos comes to mind as an example.
